The first weigh in



The time is now to start feeling good about the skin we're in. The time is now to get outside and move our bodies. The time is now to eat yummy foods in a variety of snacks throughout the day. The time is now to feel good in all aspects of our worldz... 10 lbs in 2010.


Each month on the tenth we'll have a weigh in. The target to 10 lbs. and the goal is to maintain that for the year of Two thousand "10".


Tell folks what you're doing, how its going, what gives you lots of energy and what sends you over the edge.


Use this blog to share, to spout or to just peak around. Maybe we'll make friends along the way (that would be such a grande thing).

  1. Alright, I'm in! I think I weight 149 right now. Maybe after the holidays I'm more like 155 :)
    I just had a baby; well not just; he's 7 months old. I'm psyched to start going. Here's to 10 in 2k10. I just sucked in my belly while I typed the last sentence.. what a difference!!!

  2. Began this very very cold morning with a 8 mile jog; meeting friends half-way through (Quita and Rosa you being late was frigid but worth it). Mind you I haven't ran since November but what the heck. Stretching? nahhh.. 4.5 hours later I'm feeling sore and sluggish. When I will do this again?

  3. Okay so here it goes. On Jan 1st I weighed in at 151.5 I feel like crap!
    In the past 3+ years Ive had two children with the youngest being almost two. I used to be around 140ish before the two kids. So Im ready now to get back to that and stay there. My clothes are a little outdated but I refuse to buy any until Im at my goal weight. Im sick of the muffin tops! I want so badly to feel like a sexy woman again. It will happen, oh yes. I will happen 10 in 2010!!!!

  4. Well today I went to the gym for the first time since the new year. ran/walked 4miles then did a shoulder workout. I feel awesome. i didnt want to go, but Im so glad I went. Im thinking of maybe starting a cleanse I saw on tv. but not sure yet, I gotta look more into it. for now on Ive decided I wont eat after 6pm. With that I just know Ill start sleeping a little better.

  5. Alright, the cake is gone! Now I think for the remainder of January I will not eat any processed sugar. No cakes, cookies, candies, chocolate, ice cream....ya know all the good stuff. I committed myself today to running a half marathon in April. I dont consider myself a runner (I can run 3-4miles tops) but Im up for the challenge and what better time then the spring?! It'll keep my motivated and give me a goal to achieve. New year, new me! HOTTIE!!!

  6. I know Its the 11th but I forgot yesterday and I weigh myself first thing in the morning.....in the buff (you know what I mean).
    151 lbs. Hey its a half a pound. Not great but its something. Im sure Ill have a big number in Febuary Im going to try to shoot for 4lbs.
    BTW I ran 5.75 miles yesterday in 55min. my longest ever! But I was starving all day!

  7. Well, Ive run 7 miles a couple of time last week. Then I got my kids cold, and its a bad one. I still make it to the gym 5 days a week and workout for 1.5 hr. each time. but this week Im fighting this cold, not sleeping well, I cant breathe, blah, blah blah.... so my workouts haven't been great! Hopefully next week Ill be able to run 8 miles. ..... I will do it!
